Introduction
The College of Health Care was established in February of 2006, and currently comprises of 8 departments and 6 graduate institutes focusing on doctoral education and research. The departments include: School of Nursing, Department of Medical Laboratory Science and Biotechnology, Department of Nutrition, Department of Physical Therapy, Department of Sports Medicine, Department of Dental Hygiene, Department of Biomedical Imaging and Radiological Technology, and Department of Respiratory Therapy.
The graduate institutes include: Institute of Nursing, Institute of Science and Biotechnology, Institute of Nutrition, and Institute of Rehabilitation Science, Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Radiological Technology, and Master Program in Biomedical Engineering.

While encompassing the value of fundamental health care, professional knowledge and compassion will serve as basis for the development of quality health care. Medical professionalism will be promoted to center around humanistic care, allowing those in need to fully enjoy their lives disease-free, and with enthusiasm and energy.

SPECIAL PROGRAM
Long-Term Care Program
With rapid increase of aged population worldwide, long term care has become an critical issue of health care policy. The long term care program was established in 2008. The main purpose of the program is to develop specialists of long-term care system. The program also helps students to integrate what they had learned, and to use properly in their work place.
The Certificate Program in Biomedical Engineering
The Biomedical Engineering Certificate Program was established in 2009. The global developments in the demand for and supply of biomedical engineers is increasing. The main purpose of this program is to develop the specialists of biomedical engineering. The certificate program provides the integrated knowledge of medicine and engineering and the professional skills needed to succeed in interdisciplinary research to students. The requirement credit of the biomedical engineering certificate program includes 8 credits of core courses and at least 7 credits of foundation courses.
OVERSEA PRACTICAL TRAINING
Every year, the college provided students scholarships to travel around for medical practical training. So far they have been to Singapore, Japan, US, and China. The students can learn local living and habits from other countries, culture interflows.
